Money for Newfoundland and Labrador’s tourism service industry
A 25% subsidy for eligible costs, up to a maximum of $2,500 per event, to participate in approved tourism market readiness programs (e.g., Best Practice Missions, Gros Morne Institute for Sustainable Tourism). This assistance helps enhance the quality and market readiness of tourism services, businesses, and products. An additional 50% federal subsidy may be available for some programs, with total government subsidy not exceeding 75% of costs. Applicants are expected to contribute at least 25% of eligible costs.
