Helps businesses affected by tariffs pay for changes needed to keep running and explore new markets. Provides financing to adapt and improve productivity.
Non-repayable funding (for capital maintenance stream) to help businesses affected by U.S. tariffs repair, replace or restore existing equipment and buildings to maintain operations, domestic capacity, and sustain existing capital investments for up to two years. Broader SRF offers repayable contributions for innovative projects that grow Canada's economy, strengthen supply chains, and protect jobs, with a minimum contribution of $10 million for projects with total costs of at least $20 million.

Other Criteria: Incorporated or registered in Canada (for-profit or not-for-profit), Carrying out business in Canada, Minimum of 10 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees, Minimum annual average of $5 million in capital expenditures (CAPEX) over the most recent three fiscal years, Demonstrate direct or indirect impact of the U.S. Section 338 tariffs, Project must support domestic production, pivot to new markets, protect jobs and strengthen Canada's long-term competitiveness, Able to provide financial statements for the past 3 years (audited preferred), Must hold necessary Intellectual Property (IP) rights for the project's execution and full use of resulting IP, Willing to enter a long-term Contribution Agreement (20 years or more), Secured, or intend to secure within the next 6 months, a significant portion of the funds required to support the project launch, Collaborative partnerships involving industry, Indigenous organizations and academia are eligible
