Helps Indigenous businesses and entrepreneurs increase production capacity and develop new products or services. Provides funding for support and services to grow their operations.
Funding and guidance are available for Indigenous businesses, entrepreneurs, economic development corporations (IEDCs), and not-for-profit organizations in Southern Ontario. Funding supports economic development projects such as increasing production capacity, equipment acquisition, new product/service development, accessing expertise, market development, strengthening business/management/marketing capacity, workforce development, and investing in regional businesses. For not-for-profits, it also covers providing services for Indigenous businesses (e.g., access to capital, networking, mentoring), enabling participation in new sectors, skilled workforce support, and increasing technical/managerial capacity of Indigenous businesses.
