Funding for not-for-profit and community development organizations to support business growth
Helps not-for-profit organizations support businesses in southern Ontario. Provides money to help these organizations grow and improve their services.
Non-repayable contribution funding for eligible organizations (not-for-profits, accelerators, incubators, municipalities, post-secondary institutions) in southern Ontario. Funding supports projects that foster business growth, innovation, economic development, talent attraction/retention, applied research, commercialization, technology adoption, and collaborative efforts to strengthen the regional economy. Also provides support through mentorship and training programs for entrepreneurs and businesses.

Demographics: Indigenous (First Nations, Métis and Inuit Peoples) not-for-profit organizations
Other Criteria: Incorporated not-for-profit organizations, Legal entity capable of entering into legally binding agreements at the time of application, Organizations that support businesses and/or community economic development, Can include: a group or consortium of collaborating partners, business accelerators and incubators, innovation centres, municipalities and other municipal-type organizations, post-secondary institutions, other not-for-profit and community development organizations, Project activities must include strong industry participation with community buy-in, have broad geographic reach or support leading-edge innovation, Projects must target areas of competitive or strategic advantage to the region and support economic growth, One application per organization at a time; must be distinct if another active project exists with FedDev Ontario
