Other Criteria: heritage institutions and workers, incorporated non-profit Canadian museums with at least 1 paid professional staff (full-time, part-time or seasonal, excluding students) and policies for key museum functions, incorporated non-profit Canadian service organizations whose membership relates to the museum sector (e.g., national, provincial, territorial or regional museums associations) with at least 1 paid professional staff (full-time, part-time or seasonal, excluding students), Indigenous governing bodies or Indigenous organizations within Canada with a mandate to preserve and support First Nations, Inuit and/or MΓ©tis heritage, museums governed by provincial/territorial/municipal government or by academic/cultural institutions must have distinct objectives, programs and budgets related to heritage, for Exhibition Circulation Fund (hosting exhibitions): applicants must be incorporated, non-profit Canadian museums with at least 1 paid professional staff and policies for key museum functions, for Exhibition Circulation Fund (borrowing artefacts): applicants must be incorporated, non-profit Canadian museums with policies for key museum functions and a loan agreement or letter of intent with a federal institution, for Indigenous Heritage component: other heritage organizations require close collaboration or partnership with an Indigenous organization
