Support for SMEs to participate in export-related activities
Helps Manitoba businesses pay for costs to join export tradeshows or missions outside the province. Covers half the costs, up to $30,000.
Provides reimbursement for eligible expenses incurred by Manitoba companies participating in business-to-business tradeshows or trade missions outside the province. This supports companies to enter new markets or explore new product/service export opportunities. Reimbursement is up to 50% for exhibiting or participating in a business mission, and up to 30% for participating only. Maximum contribution is $20,000 per trade event, with a combined annual maximum of $30,000 per fiscal year. Funding advances are not provided; reimbursement occurs after direct costs have been paid.

Other Criteria: for-profit companies, produces an exportable product or service, more than half of its workforce currently residing in Manitoba, registered and in good standing to do business in Manitoba with the Companies Office, must hold an active and valid Business Number, permanent establishment in Manitoba, participate in a business-to-business event (direct to consumer events are ineligible), not in arrears for taxes owing to Manitoba, not in receivership, in full compliance with government laws and regulations
