Funding in the form of donations and community partnerships for Canadian registered charities and non-profits. Projects must align with one of three strategic areas: supporting cancer initiatives, championing inclusive communities (e.g., through education, employment, youth development, or disability support), or investing in financial education resources and learning opportunities.

Other Criteria: Canadian registered charities, not-for-profits, or qualified donees, Organizations with sound financial practices and a sustainable funding model, Organizations who track impact with a clear evaluation and measurement process and can specify the number of individuals helped through the project, Culturally informed programs or services that are filling evidence-based gaps in an identified community, Projects aligned with specific focus areas: Cancer initiatives (research, treatment, screening, diagnosis, wellness, survivorship, patient support, public education, access to care); Inclusive communities (increasing access to education and employment for underserved communities, reskilling/upskilling, digital accessibility, healthy active living, education/enrichment for children aged 13 and under, help for children with disabilities); Financial education (resources and learning opportunities to improve financial confidence, initiatives for CIBC team member volunteerism)
