Provides financial assistance (weekly allowance at a provincially established rate) and comprehensive coaching, counselling, and technical advice to support new entrepreneurs during the planning and start-up phases of their business.

Region: Atlantic Canada, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador
Demographics: new entrepreneurs
Other Criteria: unemployed, receiving or have received Employment Insurance (EI) benefits within a certain timeframe, or eligible for a weekly allowance if not currently receiving EI benefits, in the planning and start-up phases of their business, business plan must demonstrate potential for success
