The Canada Media Fund: Experimental Stream supports software conceptualization, prototyping, production, and marketing projects. Interactive digital media developers may receive up to 75% of expenses to a maximum of $250,000 for media prototyping projects and up to $1,500,000 for innovation projects. Eligible projects must contain digital media content and/or application software that is innovative, interactive, and connected to the Canadian cultural sector.
Receive up to 50-75% of eligible project costs to a maximum of $1.5M per project phase. This program supports software conceptualization, prototyping, production, and marketing projects. Funding is provided as a repayable contribution, with repayment tied to product revenues once commercialized. Stream 4 also offers up to $30,000 in grants for projects related to mentorship, market, and capital.
