• Arts or curatorial collectives (3+ individuals, 2+ years professional practice, demonstrated body of work, Canadian citizen/Permanent Resident, BC resident for at least 12 months prior to deadline)
• B.C.-based not-for-profit arts and cultural organizations
• For-profit book publishers
• First Nations Band Councils
• Indigenous community organizations (First Nations, Métis, Inuit governments in B.C.)
• Non-profit community service organizations (may offer some arts/culture programming, but not their primary purpose)
• Professional non-profit literary organizations
• Non-profit periodical publishers
• Professional arts organizations operated by local government or post-secondary institutions (dedicated space, staff, public programming, creative and financial autonomy)
• Organizations generally operating for at least one fiscal year prior to application
• Majority of key staff and board members based in B.C.
• Creative control and decision making primarily maintained within the organization and by leadership based in B.C.
