📌Additional Criteria

• Alberta-based incorporated legal entity with a permanent establishment for a minimum of one year
• Alberta-based travellers attending the international formal trade event(s)
• Travel takes place within the funding fiscal year (April 1 to March 31)
• Applicant organization contributes at least 25% of total trip expenses
• Participation in international formal trade events (e.g., trade shows, conferences)
• For-profit applicants (SMEs): fewer than 500 full-time equivalent employees, seeking to enter new international markets, developed exportable products/services, demonstrates a market entry plan
• Non-profit applicants: minimum one full-time employee in Alberta, provides specific services to Alberta SMEs for trade/export, demonstrates a trade promotion and export development plan, demonstrates benefit to Alberta companies from event participation
