Helps businesses hire post-secondary students in STEM and business fields by covering up to 70% of their wages. Provides a maximum of $7,000 per student placement.
Wage subsidies for employers offering quality student work placements in the aviation and aerospace industry. Employers could receive up to 70% of the wage cost for each work term placement, up to a maximum of $5,000 in general, and $7,000 for placements involving students from underrepresented categories.

Other Criteria: Employer must be involved in the aviation/aerospace industry (directly or indirectly as a supplier of goods and services)., Employer must demonstrate a net increase in the number of student work placements when compared to the previous year., Student wages for the placement must not be funded by another federal program (provincial, municipal, or other funds are acceptable)., CCAA approval must be obtained prior to the student's employment start date., Student must be registered as a full-time or part-time student at a Canadian post-secondary education institution., Student must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, or a person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act., Student must be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial legislation and regulations., Student work placement must be in a position that supports the aviation and aerospace industry.
