Repayable loans with competitive interest rates and repayment terms. Financial options include demand and term loans, equity investments, or loan guarantees. Also provides support for business management and other training to ensure business venture success. While CBDC programs and services may vary by region, financial assistance can exceed $150,000 per eligible borrower in certain circumstances.

Other Criteria: for business startup, expansion or modernization, seasonal businesses, year-round businesses, loans for start-up costs, fixed assets, working capital, leasehold improvements, franchise purchases, may acquire assets of a previous business (transaction must be at arm's length, assets bought at or below current market value), eligible borrowers may be a sole proprietorship, a limited company or a partnership (majority of the care and control must reside with the new entrepreneur), business operations must have a reasonable expectation of economic viability, business operations must contribute to employment creation and/or maintenance in their community
